The first of the major annual auto shows every year, the Los Angeles Auto Show is expecting a bumper year of vehicle debuts, particularly in the ever increasing zero and low emission categories.
Although specific vehicle details are yet to be revealed, debuts are expected from Acura, Audi, BMW, Chrysler, GM, Hyundai, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Scion, Toyota, Volvo and Volkswagen. There are several more manufacturers expected to make announcements too, but these are yet to be confirmed.
Vehicles will be unveiled and accompanied by important alternative fuel strategy announcements, technology partnerships and new product strategies too.
For the second year, the Auto Show’s Connected Car Expo (CCE) will take place during the press and trade days. New to CCE this year is the Connected City Summit on Nov. 20, a gathering of magistrates and luminaries to address how technology is transforming everything within a modern city – ranging from transportation to infrastructure to safety.
