Barcelona will host the 27th International Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exposition (EVS) on 17 – 20th November 2013. During four days, academic, government and industry leaders will gather in the Spanish city to explore, share and promote the development of electrical vehicles and the technologies to transform transportation as we know it. The city has received the testimony of Los Angeles (USA), home of EVS26.
The event is mainly addressed to professionals and will showcase the latest technologies and products in the Electric Vehicle marketplace but it will also feature an exhibition area and the ‘Ride, Drive and Charge’ track, both open to the public.
EVS27 will take place in Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via Venue at the same dates as Smart City Expo & World Congress 2013, the summit on Smart cities which in 2013 will be focused specifically on sustainable mobility, and will make Barcelona the world’s capital city of clean development and transportation for four days.
EVS27 will be jointly organized by the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA), through the European Association of Electric Vehicle (Avere) and the Spanish Association for the Promotion of Electric and Clean Vehicles (Avele), and Fira de Barcelona. Avere and Avele will be responsible of the Conference programme while Fira de Barcelona will be in charge of the organization and logistics of both the Conference and the Exhibition.
