The New Peugeot Partner is now available to order and amongst the lineup of petrol and diesel vans is an electric variant too. The new Peugeot Partner was debuted at the Commercial Vehicle Show in April with the most obvious difference being a revised front-end design.
More than 32,000 Partner vans were sold last year alone and Peugeot hope their latest iteration of their popular van will continue to win customers. 2.4million Partner vans have been produced since its launch in 1996 with 10% of those being sold in the UK.
Aside from the new nose, the interior of the new Partner benefits from modifications made to the floor pan mean that even the L1 version has the capacity for 2 Euro pallets, class leading in its sector.
Key to the running of the vans and of particular interest to fleet operators are the available powertrains.

Over outgoing units, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are an average 15% lower.
Available in S, SE and Professional trims, new features have been added at every level. Cruise control and a speed limiter are now standard from SE, while front parking sensors and a reversing camera are now on the options list.
Peugeot have also introduced their new electric Partner van, which they see as particularly attractive to businesses who specialise in urban areas or who make multi-drops, such as delivery companies. Range to one charge is said to be 106 miles and the vehicle is covered by a 8-year/60,000 mile battery warranty. It is priced at £21,300 (excl. VAT) and should qualify for the plug-in van grant (PIVG).
Professional vans now come with a TomTom GO 5000 sat-nav fitted as standard, a first in the sector (and also on Bipper and Expert vans). It clips magnetically to a charging dock mounted on the A-pillar, making it convenient to access.
Another new addition to the Partner range is ‘Active City Brake’, available across the range from November this year. It is an automatic urban braking system which activates when a risk of collision is detected, up to speeds of 20mph. By helping to avoid accidents, or reduce the seriousness of an impact, it has a positive effect on the insurance group rating and running costs – another key factor for business users.
The New Peugeot Partner is available in Panel Van and Crew Van formats, priced from £13,215 and £15,285 respectively (prices excl. VAT).
