Red Bull, BT Fleet, Birmingham City Council and Iceland are just four of 100 businesses taking part in the Energy Saving Trust’s Plugged-in Fleets Initiative.
The programme offers free support and advice to help organisations understand if they can benefit from electric vehicles. Each participating fleet receives 3 days of free consultancy and a tailored report with recommendations on how EVs can save money and reduce emissions.
The programme is funded by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles. Over 60% of those fleets that Energy Saving Trust worked with last year have invested in or plan to invest in electric vehicles after discovering that they meet their operational needs and can save money and emissions.
