Lexus is adding to it’s range of hybrids with the latest incarnation of the IS 300h. The new Executive Edition model features the same specification as the current Luxury model with the addition of leather upholstery and Lexus’ Navigation system.
The new model’s price is from £29,995 OTR (on-the-road) and Lexus say it represents £3,390 of “complimentary” value to the buyer.
With 17″ alloy wheels, parking sensors both front and rear plus HID headlights, cruise control, auto-dimming rear view mirror, dual zone climate control and rain-sensing wipers, the luxury car fits the gadget tick list for most executive buyers’ tastes.
Engine wise, the Lexus keeps the same proven hybrid drivetrain, returning 64.2mpg average fuel economy and 103g/km CO2 emissions yet still providing ample accelerative power as the car will hit 60mph from zero in 8.3 seconds.
