Mitsubishi Motors have today introduced a comprehensive five-year warranty across all models including the excellent Outlander PHEV, giving customers extra confidence and peace of mind.
As of the 1st January 2015, all Mitsubishi cars and commercial vehicles will come as standard with a fully comprehensive five-year warranty package. Certain vehicles, such as the L200 benefit from an extended range warranty as standard, offering flexibility to commercial and small business owners (see footnote below).
In addition, all Mitsubishi models come with a three-year, pan European roadside assistance package – MAP (Mitsubishi Assistance Package) so that Mitsubishi customers can keep their vehicles on the road, without the worry of vehicle downtime.
The new warranty brings Mitsubishi into line with competitors such as Toyota who have offered a five year standard warranty for several years, but falls short of the likes of Kia who offer a seven year warranty.
In the UK, Mitsubishi Motors experienced a very successful 2014 with vehicle sales growing substantially by 74.4 per cent, compared to the UK market which grew by 9.4 per cent. Today’s announcement will undoubtedly increase dealer showroom traffic and boost sales further next year.

All vehicles across the Mitsubishi range now qualify for a five year warranty with a 62.5k mileage limit, except; the Mitsubishi L200 warranty will be 5 years / 125k miles (retail and small business only) and the condenser fan motor is limited to a 3 year/ 62.5k warranty on this model. Other commercial variants will have a 5 year /62.5k mileage warranty. The Outlander PHEV EV and ICE components are both 5 years /62.5k miles. Specialist vehicle warranty details tbc. Mitsubishi accessory warranty remains at 3 years. All vehicles have a 12 year anti perforation warranty. Note that 12v batteries and O2 sensors across all models are limited to 3 years/ 65.5k warranty. All injectors and glow plugs in all models are limited to 3 years/62.5k. All Shogun model condenser fan motors are limited to 3 years/ 62.5k.
