Emissions Analytics, the leading provider of road-based emissions testing and analysis, will showcase its new particulates measurement service at this year’s Low Carbon Vehicle Event at Millbrook.
As the most experienced provider of portable emissions testing in the UK, Emissions Analytics holds the largest database of vehicle data commercially available, covering over 90% of new car sales in the UK. The addition of particulate matter measurement to the company’s portfolio provides an even greater insight to real-world vehicle emissions.
The Emissions Analytics team, including Founder and CEO Nick Molden, will be on hand to show visitors the company’s range of testing and analysis services. This includes its new Pegasor Mi2 particulates sensor, an ultrafine particle measurement system which captures readings in real-time. Results from the Pegasor can be aligned with data from the company’s portable gas analyser, providing a detailed picture of vehicle performance including fuel consumption.
Formed to overcome the challenge of finding accurate fuel consumption and emissions figures for road vehicles, Emissions Analytics has tested over 500 vehicles to date, generating a large catalogue of data at the vehicle model level.
Having covered over 30,000 miles of testing, and amassing 1,000 hours of driving, this information powers the highly successful What Car? True MPG project, helping inform drivers on a new car’s real-world fuel economy.
The same data is also available commercially for projects such as performance benchmarking, fleet cost reduction and optimisation of telematics equipment. The company has now expanded into the USA, based out of Los Angeles, enabling it to conduct detailed testing around the world.
Emissions Analytics will be in Hall 3, Stand 3-12 at Millbrook, 4 & 5 September 2013
