Roborace Unveils Daniel Simon Design for Driverless, Electric & Connected Racecar

If you saw the Hollywood film Tron Legacy, chances are you’ll remember the achingly gorgeous light-bike design of the lead character’s speedy white glossy cockpit adorned motorcycle. It was a thing of beauty and something moviegoers could easily imagine to be real – or should be real. The bike’s creator was Daniel Simon, who’s career has seen him head design for Bugatti, design Le Mans racing cars, drones and even the odd spaceship too. A brand new car designed by motoring experts for five to 10 year olds is to launch for the first time – and the company behind it is looking for test drivers to help perfect the specially created vehicle.

Aberdeen City Council Takes on Four Hydrogen Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cells

Aberdeen City Council and Co-wheels car club have added four Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cells to their fleet. The cars will be made available to the public through the car club on a pay-as-you-go basis and to Aberdeen businesses for trial use.

The order takes the nationwide total of Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell vehicles to 15, with more than 250 across Europe. Those vehicles in the UK are already in use by Johnson Matthey, TfL, Air Products, ITM Power and Anglo American.
