Formula E Adds Another Glamorous Location to its Calendar: Hong Kong

Hong Kong is set to feature on the calendar for season three (S3) of the FIA Formula E Championship.

The Hong Kong ePrix will take place on 9 October 2016, subject to FIA track homologation. The 2km circuit will run between Lung Wo Road and the Star Ferry, with cars expected to reach speeds of up to 225kph (140mph).

Formula E Extends ITV UK Television Contract

Formula E will continue to be televised live and free-to-air on ITV in the UK for the second season of the FIA Formula E Championship.

All 11 rounds will be broadcast live on ITV4 and ITV4 HD with the season-ending London ePrix aired live on ITV. The network’s flagship channel will also show an extensive highlights programme after each ePrix.

Date Change for 2015 Formula E Beijing ePrix

The opening round of the second season of the FIA Formula E Championship will now take place on October 24.

On September 7, the Beijing authorities made a request to Formula E Holdings to postpone the race by one week due to other events taking place in the Olympic Park from October 16-18.
