Yesterday, Tesla opened their all new sales and service centre to the west of London at West-Drayton, aiming to serve customers of the current Model S electric car and future Model X and 3. Easily accessible to customers coming both from London and the west as well as anywhere around the M25 circle, the new location features a seven-bay service area and a two-bay purpose built delivery bay where newly delivered cars to the UK are prepared before final delivery to the customer. The second of two stores opened by the electric car firm, West-Drayton is also a handy location for customers wishing to take a plane from Heathrow. Tesla have already successfully trialled trips to and from the airport for Model S customers in America and so they thought the same service would be relevant to drivers in the UK. The idea is owners can drive their Model S to the West-Drayton centre and then be transported to the airport with all their luggage and family, of course, while leaving their car with Tesla. With the customer safely away on their trip, Tesla then do a free inspection of the car and conduct a service if the customer requires or has booked one. This kind of touch is exactly the sort of service which wins Tesla customers who appreciate the more personal touch and open approach the company seem to offer. Country Director for the UK & Ireland, Georg Ell, said:
“By taking any hassle out of servicing and flying, I believe that we can delight our customers. The location of our new West London store and service centre makes a perfect base for this service.”
At present, this service is not yet operational, but will be available tba. The address for the new Tesla store and service centre is: Park House, Horton Road, West Drayton, UB7 8JD
